Properties in the Town of Guilderland on the National Register of Historic Places
The Town, including the Village of Altamont, contains a substantial number of properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Many of them were included in a Multiple Resources Area (MRA) document submitted for registration in 1982, largely the effort of the Town Historian at that time, Roger Keenholts.
This page provides direct links to copies of the documentation that was submitted at that time, and also offers a recent picture of each of the properties, most of which are in good condition. Those which have been destroyed since 1980 are marked [X] in the list below; one has been in part moved and repurposed - marked [+]. List numbers used are those assigned by the NRHP in the original 1982 multiple resources document. Some other properties, and an additional Historic District, were entered on the National Register separately, at other times; these are included below with sequential alphabetical item identifiers, the list being ordered by year of entry to the NRHP.
