McKownville Improvement Association
- John McKown property dealings 1810-1870

Property purchased and sold by John McKown, and his sons William J. McKown and James French McKown, in Albany County 1810-1870
(also includes transactions relating to 1091/3 acre Normans Kill farm deeded by William McKown to John A McKown in 1835)
a links to deed book and page numbers are to text transcripts or abstracts made from the scanned images of the microfilm documents;
  files of these scans are linked to the
pdf
          logo symbol; image quality is variable.
  Note that Albany County deeds before 1874 were transcribed sometime in the earlier part of the 20th century to typescript and the original handwritten versions are
 apparently not available. Transcription errors from this process are clearly present in a number of these typescript copies of the pre-1874 documents.
