1950 air photo vertical view of part of McKownville and adjacent Albany. Western Avenue is the prominent straight road near the lower edge of the image; Washington Avenue is the large straight road in the upper part; Magazine Street (now Tudor Road) is the larger road running obliquely up and to the right in the right part of the image. Most of McKownville north of Western Avenue from Parkwood Street to the Albany City line is visible. The fairways of the Albany Country Club are prominent above this area; the pond still present on the University at Albany campus can be seen.
